Hi Guys,

I am trying to create a LSMW for changing the Vendor Master Data. During creation of the recording, I am changin one field named Address and trying to change the recording. But there is some new validation that is added to the vendor master, so it is first asking me to enter the appropraite business field.

Because of this i am not able to go further.Can we not create LSMW in such cases?

Please let me know how i can solve this.

Hi,

Create a fresh recording in LSMW; this should then catch the additional screen field. Replace the old one with this new recording. You would also need to change the field and file structure.

You can also record the transaction in SHDB and see what additional field or screen has been added and add that into the LSMW recording.

Hi,

You should check this validation (I presume, it's in user-exit SAPMF02K) and see if you can modify it, so the transactions via LSMW won't pass through it.
