Funds Management - Consumed Budget in Negative

Hi,

I budgeted Rd. 2,50,000/-for a Fund Center and Commitment item. I posted an Invoice for Rs. 23500/-, so budget got reduced by this, then I posted a credit memeo (FB65) for Rs. 4,00,000/-.

Now when I see the budget usage report,

Consumable Budget : 250000

Consumed Budget : -376000 (-400000+23500)

Available Budget : 626500

This should not happen, Available budget should not increase automatically, also I am using Budget Release process, so this should not happen at all.

This would create problem as there is no control.

Please provide solution to this.

Hi Jyoti,

This time, it's a tricky one

There is no customization to set the things in the way you want to see them. Actually, it's a question whether a credit note contributes to the budget or not. But I understand your point...

You can implement BADI FMAVC_ENTRY_FILTER to filter the credit memos from AVC ledger, if you want to. It will raise an issue, though, when the the invoice on behalf of this credit memo will appear. Then, you would have to increase your budget to post it.

Thank You... I'll try to convince the client to have manual control on this or else think of writing a development for this.
