CRM 3.0 - Middleware - Bdoc to Idoc

Hi Gurus

For CRM 3.0 I'm investigating Middleware issues. I am new to Middleware so would like assistance please.

Documentation on the current system suggest BP changes have Bdoc Type BUPA_MAIN, which are then converted to Idoc. I'm guessing it uses Idoc type CRMXIF_PARTNER_SAVE.

The Idocs are then processed via Webmethods and sent to ERP system.

I need to understand how the Bdoc is converted to an Idoc, which areas of config do I need to look at please.

Hi Panduranga

I have done this in CRM 4.0 SP7 it might work in CRM 3.0

You need to work with BD54, SM59, WE20, WE21, SMOEAC, CRMXIF_C1

BD54 make logical system - which you might have done already.

SM59 make RFC connection pointing to the system your on - type 3.

WE21 make port TRFC pointing the the RFC connection.

WE20 make outbound profile with CRMXIF_PARTNER_SAVE_M, your TRFC port and basic type CRMXIF_PARTNER_SAVE_M02.

SMOEAC - setup site and subscription for BP. Site must be of type external interface for idocs. Site attributes must be your partnerprofile.

crmxif_c1 - make a new entry add you smoeac site and xif idoc.
