hi all,
i have BI 7.0. I load master data (is Info provider). the DTP-request is yellow. reason is "record by second try in Q-table booked" (msg-nr. RSDMD217).
now i cannot load other DTP's, because the system message is "the old request is still running".
i cannot change the status for the old request in red or green. msg-nr. RSM032. qm-action not allowed for master data
i cannot delete the old request. msg-nr. RSMPC178. request cannot locked for delete. there is no lock in RS12.
any idea.
regards Andreas

Hi.....
Follow the below procedure to make yellow request to RED:
Use SE37, to execute the function module RSBM_GUI_CHANGE_USTATE
From the next screen, for I_REQUID enter that request ID and execute.
From the next screen, select 'Status Erroneous' radiobutton and continue.
This Function Module, change the status of request from Green / Yellow to RED.
Once it is RED, you can manually delete that request...
Hope this helps.....
Regards,
Debjani......

Out of curiosity: Does anyone know why this happens?
I experience this whenever I execute a process chain and the associated DTP / Infopackage retrieves some records from source system into PSA but gives a Yellow (warning) message in the monitor that there are not records to process. It does nothing from then on.
