Hi All,
This is probably trivial but I cannot figure this out.
I am trying to configure the JOB SERVER on the server (Solaris).
After I enter the Oracle connection to the repository it gives an error:
Central repository is not allowed to associate with any Job Server. UNABLE to Update the repository.
(the produced log-file is empty).
Is there some setup somewhere I need to do before this works ?
Thanks for help, Timo
Yes, indeed !
I knew it was trivial.
Thanks, Timo

HI Ben Hofmans
Correct me if i'm wrong. but i'm pretty much sure that we can configure a Central Repo for Job Server thought we dont run jobs from Central Repo.
And we cannot login into designer with Central Repo's credintials then that would act as a local repo.
But It is possible to configure a job server for Central Repo.
It looks like you are trying to link a Central Repository to a jobserver. This is not possible. Only Local Repositories can be linked to a jobserver.
A Central Repository is used in a multi-user environment for sharing objects and also as a version-control system, not to execute jobs.
If you accidentally created a Central Repo, you can use the repository manager to re-create it as a local repository. Be aware that this will erase all data in the Central Repo.
