Hi,

HTTP --> XI --> IDOC (with acknowledgment) is my scenario

whether the inbound and outbound parameters should be configured in the same logical system or in a different one (in transaction we20)

Thanks,

RPN

No. By default, the receiver Idoc adapter request ALEAUD. However, in case ur BASIS team has edited the IDX_NOALE report or IDXNOALE table, then follow the steps in the weblog I have provided .

For IDOC acknowledgement ,go thru this and do the settings :

https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/f6d2d790-0201-0010-9382-b50b499b...

It may be due to following reason

1. Ur IDX_NOALE report is configured not to receive ack.

2. The partner profile (we20) is not properly configured for ALEAUD.

U may check this

Inbound and outbound parameters should be configured in the same logical system. - YES

Check the link..

https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/weblogs?blog=/pub/wlg/1439. [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken]

Go to your application IDoc Sending/Receiving system and execute transaction SCC4 and double click on the connecting client and see what the logical system name is. Maintain that name in the business system.
