2LIS_02_ITM extraction problem...

Hi,

One ODS contains data from 2LIS_02_ITM in the INIT mode.

ODS has last 5 year data. I want to load the data for

last 2 years as a result of some enhancement.

When I do I full repair request on this ODS with the

selection on 0Doc_date for last 2 years, I get 0 records.

When I do the selection on Posting , even then I get the 0 records

from this datasource.

Can somebody let me know the reason for this?

Hi Jeetu,

Please search the forums for subjects about LO / LIS datasources. I am quite sure that your setup tables are empty and that is why you get 0 records.

Hi Jeetu,

No matter what field you do a selection on you will get 0 records if your setup tables are empty!

If you have to use document date or posting date depends on your requirement. In this case if you want to load data for documents created in the past two years you should use document date.

Hi,

You need some Ideal time to oad the setuptables, because no postings should done at the time of filling the setuptables for all

LO datasources. Just follow the sequence.

Suppose today night you are filling the setuptables..

1. clear all Queues i.e. SMQ1/LBWQ and delete setuptables and lock all Users Ids and fill the setuptable. If it is having date range, just give from data is one month befor i.e. Sep and todate is Todate only and load Init data to BW and fill the setuptables with other date ranges and load full loads to BW and after that set delta.

When I go and check in r/3 , MC02M_0ITMSETUP in se16 it contains 4 lakh records. But still I get the 0 records ...

Any Idea why this could happen?

Hi,

If this data is matching your selections which you are giving in the infopackage.

Just check if the data is there or not which meets you selection criteria.

There is no reason that it will not show up.

Also you can fill the set up table at the business hour as well just make sure that you schedule the delta after that.

Do a full repair and then schedule the delta.

This delta will bring all the changes happened in between.But its only possible to a DSO in overwrite mode and cannot be done to a cube directly.

Check setup table of 2LIS_02_ITM..

if this setup table is empty then u wont get any data in extractor..
