Hi All,

Material no gets skips if you do not save and exit MM01 transaction and go for creating next time. Is there any solution for the same?

Hello

This is because of the buffering of material number object. Even if you dont save the material, it will be skipped as a number will be taken to buffer.

To avoid this, go to SNRO

Give the object MATERIALNR

And remove the tick for main memory buffering and save.

That might be part of SAP standard functionality.

Try lowering the 'Number of numbers in the buffer' not sure but.

Hi,

This is a standard behavior, if you do not want that particular internal number to be skipped, you will need to re-set the number range (the current No.)
