Hello Guru,

In my work center scheduling formula, when i make it

1. Set up formula is equal to FORCE TO ZERO

2. Set up formula is equal to SET UP (EMPTY)

what could the effect of this in computing finish time/date for a Production order.

Since right now all of our work center scheduling Set UP formula is set to compute Set up machine time when computing production order finish time/date.

please advise and help with this one.

Thanks

Hi,

Queue time + setup time + processing time+ teardown + wait time + move time

This is the formula to calculate basic start date & finish date for backward scheduling & forward scheduling respectively.

1. Set up formula is equal to FORCE TO ZERO

If you make it zero, system will calculate setup time as zero.

2. Set up formula is equal to SET UP (EMPTY)

System will not take setup time in account to calculate basic dates.

Hello Dharma,

I consider this as solve last question is, thus changing the Set UP time to empty in the work center could make any harm reaction to our SAP process since right now our system consider set up time to calculate basic dates. but we plan not to consider it right now.

thanks

Hi,

This setup time will reflect in scheduling & capacity. Costing also system will not capture the setup time cost.

More than that no major functions with setup time.

Dharma
