full load after init with data transfer and delta process already running

Dear all,

I have set up a delta initialization for a logistic cockpit DS.

The delta procees is working fine.

Now I want to load extra data from the history where I do not expect deltas.

Hence I am going for a full load.

For this I will have to delete the set up table and to refill it with the data from the history.

Q:

Does that harm the delta process ?

Many thanks !

kind regards

Paul

Hi,

Delta process in R/3 is totally insulated to the set table fill process and will not interfere at all.

Just make sure that you schedule it before your delta load and delta runs after it only so that new changes will overwrite the history.

Because it is possible that records you load from set up tables to the targets in BW may change at the time of loading process but there new status will be recorded in the delta queue and if scheduled after full repair will make sure that status is correct in BW.

Thanks

That will not harm your deltas

Just take care that there is no data load of data you have already uploaded

but keep in mind that you cannot make a full load if deltas are scheduled

solution

In the infopackage there is an option Schedular->Repair Full request->Tick
