ODS activation

Hi,

ODS activation is failing daily with this error message.

An error occurred during confirmation of process 000005

An error occurred during confirmation of process 000003

An error occurred during confirmation of process 000001

An error occurred during confirmation of process 000004

An error occurred during confirmation of process 000002

Activation of M records from DataStore objects xxxxxx terminated.

Plz help me..........

Hi Jasil,

You should check the Job log in sm37 for the ODS activation job for additional error messages. If this does not

help please check in sm21 and st22 for additional error messages or dumps when the activation job fails.

Does the problem happen even if you do the activation using dialog or background processes? The issue

may be with the customizing for the ODS activation please refer to the note 1118205.

HI,

It seems like some special characterstis are there go to monitor screen click detail tab there it will dipaly in which packet contains special character.

Hi.......

These error generally happens due to Idoc problem.........during processing of an IDoc it throws the error...........It is a temporary problem....

A process does'nt get the confirmation.......

hi ,

can u paste the logn text of the error pls.

it sometimes happens due to the occurence of invalid characters in the data packets. In such cases, u need to add them to the list in RSKC.
