Solman and Content Server

Hi Gurus,

There is demand on my project to configure Content Server with Solman. My stance is that , why we need Content server or KW , if Solman already has the capability of storing documents ( road map and project documents-BBPs stc.) in its own repository.

Is my stance sound Ok, if yes then is there ia any way we can see the contents of thses folders?

waithing...point swill be awarded for any help

Hi,

you do not NEED a content server in conjunction with Sol Man to store documents. But you CAN make use of one if thats your requirement.

Maybe you expect a large appearance of documents and want to keep the Sol Man Database small. Maybe the company is already using a content server for storing other kind of documents.

Sol Man got the capability to store documents internally (/KWCUST/) so it's not a must to use a content server.
