Hi all,
I encountered error in the PCA extraction in the DEV and encountered the warning:
Extraction (messages): Errors occurred
From the Application Log:
Warning: Valuation set to 0 (legal)
Success: IDOC: Info IDoc 2, IDoc No. 88, Duration 00:00:00
Success: IDoc: Start = 10.10.2008 11:11:33, End = 10.10.2008 11:11:33
Success: tRFC: Data Package = 1, TID = C0A801560D8448EEC7E8E290, Duration = 00:00:01, ARFCSTATE = RECORDED
Success: tRFC: Start = 10.10.2008 11:11:36, End = 10.10.2008 11:11:37
Success: IDOC: Info IDoc 3, IDoc No. 89, Duration 00:00:01
Success: IDoc: Start = 10.10.2008 11:11:37, End = 10.10.2008 11:11:38
Also in BI monitor, it shows
Data Package 1 : arrived in BW ; Processing : Data packet not yet processed
in the Transfer (IDocs and TRFC) section.
In the Processing (data packet), it shows
Transfer Rules ( 328 -> 328 Records ) : No errors
Update rules ( 328 -> 328 Records ) : No errors
Update ( 0 new / 0 changed ) : Errors occurred (Red)
Message Missing: Update Finished for 0PCA_C01 (yellow)
Processing end : Missing messages (yelow)
but no data updated to the infocube.
I have check the similar thread on this subject but the scenario is different from mine.
Additional info:
- Have check the WE05 on the IDOc and it's all green
- Have check the sm58 and noticed error "An exception occurred that was not caught" but could not
get more detail.

Would need help regarding this. Is there any specific settings need for PCA extraction?

There is no short dumps.
I could see the data is loaded to PSA.
In the BI Monitor, In the Extraction, there is yellow light although it indicate
328 records sent (328 received)
If I check the application log, it says Valuation set to 0 (Legal)
During the transfer the IDoc and TRFC, red light on
Data Package 1: arrived in BW; Processing: Data Packet not yet processed.
In the Processing, transfer rules, update rules green light.
Red light indicate Message Missing and no data updated to infoCube.
In the R/3, T-Code: sm58 (Transactional RFC),
I found error on function module: RSAR_TRFC_DATA_RECEIVED,
error: An exception occurred that was not caught.
How do I check more detail on TRFC error ?
This happen everytime I extract PCA data source.
In the BD87, I did not see any IDoc error.

I have tried to push the data manually from PSA to Infocube and it failed with Runtime exception error
CX_RSR_COB_PRO_NOT_FOUND.
This is resolved due to the missing infoobject 0REQUEST not installed in BI.
After installing, the data from PSA is updated to infocube successfully but the
Warning: Valuation set to 0 (legal) still persists.
Any idea how to get rid of the warning??
