Dear all

databsee is up but sap dispatcher not connected ,error all athe following

We have also reset the deafault password password of the sapprd- sap

Please advise

Your database is not started properly due to wrong user name and password.

Check that thread and use that command to change the password and try to up your database first

then again execute R3trans -d

output should be 0000

Then start your SAP

provide contents of file trans.log . This file is generated when wunning r3trans -d. it contains all connection information and will also show the error message.

Hi,

Had you applied any patches before starting the server. If so revert back and chk the prerequisites before applying patches.

Shutdown the entire server and restart it, Probably the DB is not started properly, check also the available free space where SAP and DB files are residing.

If Windows OS check if all the DB services are started.

Also check the <SID>adm and SAPservice<SID> user ID and Password do matchup with users in SAP services, the services will b run under SAPservice <SID> user and you need to set the password there as well.

Hello,

Since you are getting error username/password is invalid while you are starting SAP system (and also in R3trans -d output). I recommend to change password of your schema user with the help of brtools and start sap. If it still didnt work and system should be started very urgently then you can change password of your schema user to sap at database level then sap will come up. later you ananlyze why it gave problem.
