Outlook Subject Problem

Hi Workflow gurus,

We are sending the workitem to Outlook with the Standard program in background RSWUWFML2.

The problem is that the Outlook is displaying only 50 characters in the Subject line and some part of the Subject line is missing in the outlook.

The Work item text at SAP is "Complete task &TASKCODE& in notification &TASK.NOTIFICATION&".

Is this the problem with standard program RSWUWFML2 while sending the mail to outlook.

Hi,

If you execute this Program RSWUWFML2. The work-item text will will come in the Mail Subject, if your work-item text is too long this will be truncated.

This program send mail to Outlook via the Function Module "SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1". Check the documentation of this function Module.
