What is relationship and difference between the resouces type and resouces.

a resource type is a generic object for resource. When you create a resource type, you define the attributes that all resources of this type have in common.

resource type is assigned to business event type(generic event type which cannot be scheduled)

a actual resource is assigned to the actual scheduled event with the function Create Event Dates with resources.

My client wants one skill deficiency report for employees.

He required report is:

Requirement for the skill for the next/current quarter-Deployable skills for the next/current quarter.

How to do that, if anybody know,

Dear Devi,

You need to maintain the requirements in the Qualification Catalog and assign the same to the Person. If you do the Profile match up with Qualification Deficit, you will get list of Person with the required Qualification.

Even, if you maintain development plan catalog, it will automatically trigger the Business Event for the deficit qualifications.

Resource(G) is a specialization of a Resource Type(R)

Resource Type is used to create utilities that could be required for a business event.

You assign the actual utilities (resources) required to the individual business events.
