Where a MM person will maintain exchange rate object like 'M' in the whole configuration, like one at Maintain Excise Groups..Please reply..

Exchange rate types are maintained in T.code OB07
And the currency conversion factors for various from and to currencies are maintained in OB08
Hope this is what you were looking for.

exchange rate is not maintained for seperate module .
It is maintained in OB08- and is common for all transaction.
