Hi Gurus

Is it mandatory to have CRM if w ewant to configure/ user Support Desk functionality of Solman?

Just for the case you mean Change Request Management when talking about CRM, then the answer is no. You do not need ChaRM to use Service Desk.

Hello Nayab,

CRM is a software component ( BBPCRM) of solman....Support desk is based mostly out of this component.......

Whether we need to know CRM for configuring Support desk ?

Well its nice to know,but not a necessity....

Standard support desk configuration doesnt demand that much of CRM know-ledge...

You get to learn CRM base customization whilst u configure Support Desk......

Only when the requirment is complex, u might need a CRM consultant's help...Dats all..
