Yes, the employee not have authorisations to infotype 2001.
However other employee have the same roles of this employee and the same authorisations and if can approve request of absence in the UWL(Universal WorkList).
Employee Self-Service>Service-Specific Settings>Working Time>Leave Request>Processing Processes>Define Processing Processes for Each Rule Group>
Rule Group-Name of Rule Group-Start Date- End Date 00000001----SAP Standard
'x' Employees: Desactive Authorization Check
'x' Managers : Desactive Authorization Check
Regards.
Those checkboxes have the following documentation
Deactivate ESS Authorization Check
Specifies whether the system checks an employee's read authorization for the Absences (2001) and Attendances (2002) infotypes when he or she uses the Leave Request or Team Calendar web application.
Use
Select this field if you do not want the system to check the user's authorization for displaying absences in the team calendar.
those checks are only for read authorisations not for approve authorisations.
so there is some role missing for that employee.
check the authorisations trace in st01,st05
Thanks
