Tax not adding to Orders

We have a handful of customers set to receive taxes based on Ship-To location.

I made sure that the tax code was properly set in SBO and the Tax was set to charge for 1 State and based on price in WebTools.

Now when I place a order for a few of these customers NO tax is being applied.

Anyone have any ideas?

The items you are ordering have to be liable for that tax as well.

Take a look at item details in the admin under the financials tab.

Is there a way to do a bulk update to every item to make it tax liable?

And if this is done what happens to customers that do not have to pay tax?

Add all the items to a category called taxes. Make this category invisible.

Then go to the details of that category and assign the taxes to all the items in it
