Firefighter 5.2 SP5 Build ID: 02090508 Connectors

Our backend firefighter is working flawlessly. Everything updates...emails are sent...it's utopia! However, our front-end isn't working properly (i.e.; reports don't find anything...not even any of our firefighter IDs).

The only thing we have determined is the possibility of the link between CC/RAR. Do the connectors have to match the connectors exactly as they are in CC/RAR? Are we on to something here?

All of our firefighter testing is done in DEV, but our CC/RAR is connected to QA because DEV was causing too many performance issues in CC/RAR.

Thanks in advance and please advise,

Greg

Greg-

Well, it is best practice to keep the same connector names throughout your GRC landscape. However, since the front-end FF application only reports from the back-end FF application, it is not necessary you have the same connector names in FF.

You might want to double-check your RFC connection in the front-end FF application. That is the only reason I see why it might not be working.

It turned out to be missing Auth Objects for the GRCRFC user account which the connectors were created with.
