error message "No activity types assigned to cost center ,controlling area"

Dear all.

In tcode cj20n,I want to input the Activity Type field in one Internal Activity.When I press the f4 on the Activity Type field,the sap show a error message "No activity types assigned to cost center J0103033, controlling area C001 on 09.10.2008".Then I create an Activity Type named Z001 in tcode KL01.And define fixed and variable price in tcode kp26.Also config the Controlling Area in tcode okkp.At last I enter tcode cj20n again and press the f4 on the Activity Type field.But sap still show me the same error message.So I need the experts give me some useful advice and reference to resolve the problem.Thank you.

Did you enter cost center during maintaining price in KP26.

Hi

1. Check the validity dates of cost center and acivity type. It should be valid for the period you are in.

2. While maintaing price in KP26 you need to choose approriate periods ("from" and "to") for fiscal year.You may not have maintained the price for period 10.
