Fixed Asset Add on failed to install

Dear all,

I'm using SAP Bussiness One version 2005A sp: 01 pl: 46.

I face problem when try to install Fixed Asset (file name : B12005FIXASSETS01P_100-20001689.zip).

the message is :

Add-On FixedAssets: Add-on Installation failed because another version is already installed. Please ensure that the version no. is higher than the version previously installed.

Action already done :

- Remove previously installed Fixed Asset from SAP Add-On Administration.

- Remove previously installed Fixed Asset via Control Panel --> Add / Remove Program.

- Delete all files in %temp%.

When I try to install again Fixed Assets, it also failed and shows same message.

Anyone can help ?

Hi,

This has happened to me with the add-ons that I develop.

If you look under the C:\Program Files\SAP\SAP Business One folder there is a file called: AddOnsLocalRegistration.sbo. You should delete from there the reference to Fixed Assets add-on.

Then you should be able to install the add-on.

Please let me know if this has solved your problem.

Alquem poderia me ajudar , estou tentando instalar o add-on BTHF e Format definition , para utilizar o Processar extrato bancario externo, mais sempre dar o erro 1607: Unable to install, depois fica aparecendo o relogio e quando para aparece o outro erro: Add-on BTHF: erro na instalação. Estou usando o sap business one 2007B PL 14.

Hi Surya Lolo,

To sucessfully install and connect to fixed Assets addon, please checnk the following point.

1,Item Group 100 exists in the Database.

Please run following query, to ensure that the item group 100 is

defined: SELECT * FROM OITB T0 WHERE T0.ItmsGrpCod =100

2,The DIAPI is on the same patch Level as the Common DB.

You can check the DI version from C:/ Program Files/SAP/SAP

Business One DI API/DI API 2005/,right click on SAPbobsCom2005.dll

> properties >version tab: special build description.

3,The tax code which is required for your localization exist in the

database. (Note 770851) https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/770851

If all above settins is OK, please follow the steps in note 819501: How

to clean client after corrupted installation. Uninstall the Fixed Assets

and install the latest version PL 101 (B12005FIXASSETS01P_101) for a try.

**Please noticed that if there is any other add-ons installed, please

delete the part of Fixed Assets in AddOnsLocalRegistration.sbo file only

, not the whole file. Otherwise, the other installed add-on will be

affected.
