IBAN access via ad-hoc queries

Hi

I cant access IBAN number from ad-hoc queries(via PA20 is fine). I guess the reason is table TIBAN is not in the authorizations groups. In my understansing if i include the value &NC& in object S_TABU_DIS, the user will be able to access all such tables.

Is there a way i can give the user to access just the TIBAN table.

Regards

Matt

Hi Matt,

If the table TIBAN belongs to the authorization group &NC& then by inserting the value &NC& in the field auth. group of S_TABU_DIS will enable access to the table TIBAN along with the other tables which belongs to the auth. group &NC&.

For giving access to just the TIBAN table to the user, the best way will be to create a custom parameter transaction in SE93 and define the table you want the user have access to. Then go into SU24 and define the table auth group for that table so that in PFCG the correct values will be defauted when u give access to the txn . Remember to "skip initial screen" when setting up custom tcode. A custom auth group can also be created in table TBRG for this use.

Thanks,

Saby..
