Hi Friends,
We are at the beginning of a project start-up.
I need to estimate the go-live time required for specific HR submodules in order to determine a feasible project scope.
My client has 250 employees.
The submodules we are considering include:
Personnel Administration
Organizational Management
Payroll (for Turkey)
Personnel Development
Appraisal System
Time Management (negative - no time evaluation needed)
Recruitment
Training & Event Management
According to your past experience, how much time would you propose for these submodules considering one consultant and one key user will be working full time on it?
Regards,
Dilek

hai
do u have any variations in the project i mean there are any roll out projects in this if not no issues
wht abt the status of to be documents i think ur in the BBP stage right did all the documents signed of from the process owner
more importantly the As IS documents which are given by the core users are ready with u
if there is no probelm in project evaluation and business blue print stage u can go off with in 6-9 months

Thanx Sikindar for the response!
No variations.
We are at the beginning of BBP stage ; BBP doc in preparation now.
As-is docs are ready.
By the way, can anyone provide me a module-by-module time estimation??

if there are no variations good
personnel administration - infotypes maintainece and all those things will be there so no probs can be delivered with in - 15 days to 20 days
organisational structure - use LSMW for bluck org structure so shd take only 5 to 10 days
pay roll - is there any scenarios u have to work on schemas and pcrs ( how many ESG EG PA PSA are there)
here i would say the testing part will take long time than the implimentation part so for implementiaion part 5 to 10 days
time management since the time status is 0 u can do in 5 to 10 days
rest PD , Rec , T&D, Apprisals i have not worked so it may take 20 to 30
concentrate on PY and PA and TM those will take more time if ther is any variations rest i dont have idea
Hi... 6 to 8 months should be decent...

Dear Dilek,
We have implemented all the said modules except Recruitment, but with Positive Time management & also number of employees are more. It took 6 months for us to project Sign Off.
Project implementation time frame is based on so many criteria like Scope, Quantity of records, Documentation, Custom development, Training, customer rapo, etc...
If everything finish within the deadline, you can implement within 6 months of time.
Good Luck.

Yep, no estimation.
Based on info given it's absolutely not possible to give an estimation.
How many CLA's do you have, do you have people with guaranteed net salaries, how many company specific regulations are in place etc. etc. etc.
Number of employees doesn't matter.
A implementation for 5000 employees can be easier than an implementation for 250 employees depending on the diversity in regulations within the population.
Wilfred.
Hi Dilek,
Is it the project is in Project preparation stage.
Pls let me know on this.
Apart Training and Event mgt i woked remaining all the modules in one project.
I am only the SAP-HR consultant. If the project is in Project preparation stage it takes 6 months.
Thanks and Regards,
Revathi.
