Special stock "E"

Dear All,

We are using MTO strategy 25 forconfigurable material. With requirement tpe KEK & requirement class 046.

When we run MRP the system will generate PRs for BOM items & planned orders for header material .

When I convert planned orders to production orders the BOM items will have special stock indicator 1 i.e order stock.Even pick list generated with special stock E.

Also the purchase requisition will have special stock indicator E.

This I understand its flowing from requirement class 046, which is for MTO.

My qusetion is, is it possible to generate special stock only for header material (finished good) not for the dependent items in BOM. The BOM items should consider unrestricted stock & generate reservations against the production orders.

Hi,

For Header material select - Individual requiremnts only in MRP4 of material master.

For header below material select Collective requirements only.

So system will consume the unrestricted use stock for header below material when MRP run.

For the components maintain collective indicator in MRP4 view in field Individual/coll. So system always will create proposals without any order reference.

Hi,

You need to maintain the planning strategy 25 for only FERT material. For HALB material you can maintain planning strategy 10,11 or 40 as per your convenient and you need to load the PIR seperately. Then HALB materials will consider as MTS.
