How do you set up a new Administrator for Time Recording

Hi,

I was just wondering whether it is an easy process to set up a new Administrator for Time Recording as we often get new projects and need to report on them through the Spinifix tool.

as said by chirs u will get it defaulted in 0001 so check with that

Hi,

I can get to the table but how do you then change it in there then send to test/dev?? Is it an easy process as I have limited knowledge in configuration.

Simone,

1. TC: /nSM30, T526-Maintain. It will take you to change view "Administrators": Overview. If it took you to display view, then it means someone is working on it or click on first icon in application toolbar which looks like glasses and pen.

2. In change view, click New entries.

3. enter grp, adm, name, title, tel no, sap name.

4. if you dont know which grp he/she belongs then: TC: PE03, feature:PINCH-change, chk decision tree for return value(group). If it is **** and you want to create new (Eg. PG00 here) change return value, check, activate and then in step 3 enter your data.

PG00 A01 XYZ1 Mr. 123-123-1234 HRADMIN1

PG00 A02 XYZ2 Mrs 123-123-1235 HRADMIN2

PG00 A03 XYZ3 Ms. 123-123-1236 HRADMIN3

5. Ask your basis guy to transfer to testing n dev if it is working fine. Now in PA30, in IT0001 you should find entries as below

A01 XYZ1

A02 XYZ2

A03 XYZ3

I guess this all you do.

Try to set up your new admin in Table T526. It should work if not check your Admin groups in feature PINCH
