Barcode Integration for Goods Receipt and Goods Issue process
We want to use barcode integration with the following processes -
Most of the suppliers send the materials with a Barcode tag attached with the materials.
During the goods receipt the stores clerk scans the barcode and it fetches all the relevant data like PO number, material code, quantity etc on scanning and populates the ERP system.
The GR slip is printed with barcode and attached with the materials. Based on these inforation materials are placed on the right storage location.
Similarly during the goods issue proces the barcode is printed on the material issue slips. The Barcode contains the information like the material code, quantity, reservation/order number etc.
It will be really helpful if I can get any information regarding the Barcode Integration with SAP.
