hi guys.
i need the the quantity of one component to vary with the selection i made in my characteristics.
so created a characteristic utqty refering to the table stpo-menge.
ive assigned this characteristic to my class.
i wrote a dependency to my material in the bom.
$self.utqty = '2' if $root.gift = '03'.
I am getting these two errors.
reference to object $ root,$parent or $ self required
syntax error in simple action/procedure
can some one tell me why i am getting these errors.
