Project started from past

Dear all,

Could you help me on the following question?

Generally speaking, the start date of the project is today.

Now, my project started more than one year ago.

Although I set the start date of the project in 2006, the basic time of the network and activities still starts from today.

How can I make the activities and network start from 2006? How should I configure the scheduling? Please give me some clues.

Forward or backward ?

In Planning Board under Settings->options, set "Start in the past" greater than 365 and run scheduling. When this entry is blank system rum todays schedule and reset the date to current date.
