There is a request by the client to validate the population of the department field (technical name ABTEI) during the creation of the cost center master in t-code KS01. Does anyone out there know if this will require code in a user exit or if there is a configuration step possible that would allow this and how to do so? Any insight would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
