Problem with NumberFormat Local property - Business Explorer

Hi BW Experts.

I have problem with using SAP Business Explorer v7.0.

Step by step:

1. Open BEX Analyzer

2. Open query and log on into the system

3. Select report

4. fulfill variable table and execute

5. it cause following error

´Run-time error 10004´

Unable to set the NumberformatLocal property of the Range class

After debugging:

lSheet.Range(ltAddress(lCount)).NumberFormatLocal = ltVBFormat(lCount)

I have no problem to execute the report in SAP BEX v3.5.

My version:

SAP GUI 7.10

"BI AddOn Patch for GUI 7.10" patch level 700 for SAP NetWeaver 7.1 on my workstation was applied.

MS Excel version 2003 and then 2007 for testing

Hi Helena,

we had the same problem and tackled this issue as follows:

I changed the general settings for numbers and dates (in Vista "regional and language settings) from the existing setting (which was "czech") to german ( I assume "english" would also work but havnt tested that yet)

After that reopen the query in BEx Analyzer and the issue was solved.

Hi.

The problem is solved now. It was caused by new SAP package that has been installed.
