Hi,

On the E43C screen, what does Sched. rec. mean as compared to Sched. BD

Say for eg,

Treating Jan 19 as a work day even though it is a holiday in the holiday calendar.

PAA Sched. rec. date is 01/15/2009 , Sched. BD is 01/13/2009

PBB Sched. rec. date is 01/16/2009 , Sched. BD is 01/14/2009

PCC Sched. rec. date is 01/19/2009 , Sched. BD is 01/15/2009

PDD Sched. rec. date is 01/20/2009 , Sched. BD is 01/16/2009

PEE Sched. rec. date is 01/21/2009 , Sched. BD is 01/19/2009

PFF Sched. rec. date is 01/22/2009 , Sched. BD is 01/20/2009

This is the expected result in E43C. However, following is what we see :

PAA Sched. rec. date is 01/15/2009 , Sched. BD is 01/13/2009

PBB Sched. rec. date is 01/16/2009 , Sched. BD is 01/14/2009

PCC Sched. rec. date is 01/19/2009 , Sched. BD is 01/14/2009

PDD Sched. rec. date is 01/20/2009 , Sched. BD is 01/15/2009

PEE Sched. rec. date is 01/21/2009 , Sched. BD is 01/16/2009

PFF Sched. rec. date is 01/22/2009 , Sched. BD is 01/20/2009

What does this mean.

This happens only when the holiday is treated as a work day.

Any help !!!!

Shelina,

There are a LOT of different dates in scheduling, each with their own specific purpose. Many dates may even be obsolete in your business scenario will be never used.

To get a complete overview of all dates, read the info on scheduling on help.sap.com, in the customizing standard documentation (in SPRO) and in the online help of every date field in scheduling records (through the F1 button). Honestly, there's a LOT of good info in there.

Now for this specific question: make sure that on ALL levels (portion AND MRU; header level and details) the factory calender is NOT filled in and the check boxes are NOT checked.

From your example, it looks like you're trying to skip weekends in your definitions, and in addition SAP is skipped weekends as well...

Now, as a side not, be carefull with modelling weekend in your scheduling records, because that can go wrong next year...

If this does not solve the problem, please provide more details on your portion/MRU set-up.
