Erron in CK11N if any of the RM code has NIL stock

Hi

I am running CK11N for one semi-finished material. It is having 6 raw materials in its BOM. For one of the raw materials, the stock quantity as on date is NIL. For this material i am getting error that "No valid source of supply found for material XXXX"

Can anyone tell me that is it necessary to have stock in hand for all materials that are there in the BOM of the material being costed

Hi Parag,

You need yo maintain Purchase Info Record for that material. That will work then. No Source of material means " Input Value could not be found for that material"

No... you don't need stock in hand for the Standard Cost Estimate. Check you Val Strategy for this material.
