Have to add new filed in the cube

Hi ,

I created a new filed in the cube BS01 and loaded data.

WE have a multi provider with 2 cubes BS01 AND BS02.

I added this new filed also in the Multiprovider and transported to quality.

Now when I ccchange the existing query on multi provider and include the new field to the freee char coloumn that is succesfully done in development . But when I transport the query to quality I can see the new field in the Info provider list but not in the free characteristics list.

For the aboe transports are succesful , no errors / warnings.

Please let me know how to collect and transport the newly added field to quality.

As said by Raj, collect the objects.

Go to transaction rsa1->transport connection

Select your query and collect all the query elements to a new transport and transport it to Prod.

under grouping select necessary objects in transport connection

Grouping -neesary ojts

collection mode:manual colletion

display: hierarchy

And then moved all the query elements to one Transport request, then in seleted check boxes for each query element , adn then in se01 i released.

and I collected properly .

the reason the field is missing....

first run the cubes to make sure the field is there, then run data in the mutliprovider to see if the field shows..

go to your multiprovider go to chnage mode in your development system.

dril down to your attribute, and make sure the on/off switch is checked. sometime when its check the object doesnt show in the query, turn it on or off and try it again.

Do you transport the query in the same transport as the model objects? If not check if the query transport has come across
