●Configuration on installation....

Default Parameter Setting -> Parametter Mode: Typical

jce: 1.5.0

Master Password: ABCD1234

Anti-virus software: disabled

●I started installation.

Error occurred at 21/34.

To continue installation, I deployed the following two archives (a,b) into the following directory (c).

*(a). US_export_policy.jar

*(b). local_policy.jar

(c). sapinst_instdirの/CE71_DEV_ADA/INSTALL\sapjvm\sapjvm_5\jre\lib\security

●I pushed "Retry" button.

And the installation stopped at 29/34.

●The log says "FATAL: Main class "com.sap.security.core.server.secstorefs.SecStoreFS" cannot be started: ".

How do I have to configure the environment to complete the installation?

I really appreciate receiving any ideas and suggestions.

Hi,

you don't necessarily need to extract the jce zip file.

As far as i know, sap installer expects a reference to the complete jce zip file.

I didn't extract the file and my install works fine

hope this helps

I met same problem, but could counter by operations mentioned below.

In phase 29, copy the same 2 files(local_policy.jar & US_export_policy.jar)

to usr\sap\CE1\SYS\exe\jvm\NTI386\sapjvm_5.1.XXX\sapjvm_5\jre\lib\security

again.

Hi,

I ran into a similar error during the CE 7.11 install and wanted to post the answer to the forum for future users.

The platform was Win 2008 R2 which only supports the latest Kernel, I could see from dev_bootstrap the I was running 19 for the installer and the latest available was 134.

This was teh install error I was getting. jstart_bootstrap was a 0kb file.

The solution was to upgrade teh Kernel during step 29 with the unsarred SAPJ2EE kernel 134 as mentioned in note 1480785. I must mention I also implemented 1383873 but upgrading the kernel provided the best fix for the issue.

I experienced same problem as you Paul, with NetWeaver CE 7.1 EHP1 on Windows Server 2008, I followed sap note 1480785, and it solved the problem. Thanks.

the log file jstart_bootstrap_J00.log is empty.

Please check the dev_bootstrap*.log. I suppose a ClassNotFoundException is logged there.

What does it say?

Thank you for your advice.

I tried the way which you advised me once.

But it didn't succeed.

I installed Netweaver (Java & ABAP)

on linux with VMware.

It runs well.

The install process was pretty easy.

I've given up installing Netweaver (Java) on

Windows.

Thank you for helping me on this matter.

Thank you for your advice.

I deployed jce_policy-1_5_0.zip which I found in Sun's web site.

But error occurred.

Where can I get an appropriate jce archive?

Could you please help me on this matter again?

You don't need to "deploy" anything. Just give the path to the jce_policy-1_5_0.zip file to the installer when prompted.

HTH!
