Accumulated depriciation

Dear Friends,

We have an asset which is depreciated with straight line depreciation method till previous month.

I changed the depreciation key to Dep 0000 to stop posting of depreciation from current month.

When I verified the Accumulated depreciation value for the current year (Jan-Sep) there is no value it is showing Acc dep value of previous year only.

May I know whether the Accumulated depreciation will be lost when we changed the dep key to 0000.

Please help.

Hi When you change the depreciation key it will recalculate the depreciation for the current year.

See some messages before on this forum how to stop the depreciation (shutdown)
