Hi
I've just upgraded to MDM 5.5 SP6 and the verify repository check tells me to make a compact on the repository.
I don't find the compact command in the console, can anybody help me?
Regards,
Jens

Hi,
the compact command is deprecated in SP06, and therefore not available anymore. You can find comments about that in the console guide as of 08/12/2008.
Best regards
Christian

Hi Jens,
In build 5.5.61.48, the compact repository is disabled (you can't compact the repository) however in build 5.5.62.50 this option is enabled (you just need to unload the repository and then you can compact the unloaded repository).
It seems that build 5.5.61.48 doesn't supports Compact Repository option but 5.5.62.50 does support Compact Repository.
If you are on 5.5.62.50; then first unload the repository --> right click on it --> select Compact Repository
Hope that will solve your problem.

Hi Jens,
For compacting just right click on the particular repository.
You will get a compact option.
Also go to the top right pane->Repositories.Select compact repository as an option from the context menu.
Hope it helps.
Thanks,
Minaz
