Hi Gurus,

i am configuring the TMS , and i configured the TMS ,when i am trying to release the request No in se09 down one is releasing, and wheni am releasing the top one i amgetting the error Could

Not start transport control program tp

now what could be the reason please help me

Hi,

Go to STMS (OVERVIEW -> SYSTEMS) and select there R/3 SYSTEM which is the next target for your transport request. may be quality in this case.

-> CHECK -> CONNECTION TEST or TRANSPORT TOOL.

it should show you the eror screen. and with logs. (double click on the error line to see the log)

Hi Debasis ,

if i check the Tp tool for PRD its fine , but when i check the DEV TP executable is not right mark , it's some thing Icon , if i click on that icon it's was blank , and on the top TMS:RFC.PING , actually my domian control is DEV i need moove the requests from DEV to PRD can any help me please

Hi,

Do the necessary complete checks,

- connection test

- transort directory

- transport tool

which step you're getting error. which icon? (yellow or red)

go to the import queue of Dev system, and Goto > tp systemlog.

STMS > Monitor > TMS Alerts > TMS Alert viewer

see if there are any alerts at the time when you're trying to release the request.

Which OS/ SAP level you are in?.

check if the developement tp version and production tp versions are both same.

if server is on windows, check the event log also at the time, if there is any logs for tp not starting.
