Solution Manager installation fails at createJSF

Hi there,

I'm new to SAP and trying hard to install SolMan with MaxDB on a Windows Server 2003 R2 Enterprise (x64 Edition, 6GB RAM). The installation stops at Phase 36 of 51 (Create Java Users) and the error log show up the following error:

WARNING 2008-10-08 10:34:01.906
Execution of the command "D:\usr\sap\XSM\DVEBMGS00\exe\jlaunch.exe UserCheck.jlaunch com.sap.security.tools.UserCheck "C:\Program Files\sapinst_instdir\SOLMAN\SYSTEM\ADA\CENTRAL\AS\install\lib;C:\Program Files\sapinst_instdir\SOLMAN\SYSTEM\ADA\CENTRAL\AS\install\sharedlib;C:\Program Files\sapinst_instdir\SOLMAN\SYSTEM\ADA\CENTRAL\AS\install" -c sysnr=00 -c ashost=xavoserver-31 -c client=001 -c user=DDIC -c XXXXXX -a checkCreate -u SAPJSF -p XXXXXX -r SAP_BC_JSF_COMMUNICATION_RO -user_type system -message_file UserCheck.message" finished with return code 2. Output:

I found some discussions where people found out that deleting the user SAPJSF and resuming the installation would solve the problem - but since I'm new to all that SAP stuff I don't know how to delete the user (there are no SAP programs, like SAPGUI, yet available on the machine).

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance
