DC to chec in and activation

Hi experts,

I have created a DC in a track and check- in and activated successfully.

Due to some server problem, Basis guys uploded old backup on the J2ee server.

Now the DC are not refelecting in the Track(active DC).

Now , how can i check- in and activated that DC again.

hi!

try to repair project.

right click on project->repair->project structure and classpath->reload and rebuild again->deploy both the applications and run it seperately.

if it doesnt work try it by closing on of the projects.

This is not my problem, the application is working fine.

I want to check-in and activate the DC, sothat all other developers check-out and modify.

Hi Experts,

This doesn't resolve my issue.

My issue is that when i created the DC there was one activity and i checked in and Activated that.

That time i was able to see the DC in the active Dcs.

Due to some J2ee problem, Basis guys reloaded back up (that was taken one week before).

so , now i have the DC in my NWDS but not able to see the DC into Active DCs.

Please give me proper solution.

i guess you could always create a new dc and copy the project this is created into that...an activity would be created for the same and then you could check it in

while you close the thread pl let us know how did u fix this issues...seems interesting...and i guess some time or the other some one else also will face the same.

Hi

What kind of Component is it? DC or Project? For Projects do like this:

1.Go to <Inst.Drive>:Documents and Settings<user>DocumentsSAPworkspace (say test)

2.Copy your project to desktop (Rename it as test_copy)

3.Open the project folder.Open the .porject file.

4.Change the project name and save it.<name>test_copy</name>

5. Copy this modified from desktop to workspace.(Copy test_copy to workspace)

6.Open NWDS,select File-> Import. Browse to workspace select the modified project (test_copy)-> Select Finish.

Now in the studio you will have copy of your project.

hi

that means your DC is not visible in track(Corresponding SC)??

Try this.

if that is the case you have to checkin the the corresponding SC in CMS.(with admin rights).CMSTransportstudio-->checkin

and import that SC into dev and cons stages of your track.
