Hi Experts!

When do we use dummy cost centers while balance upload.

I mean to say during balance upload

do we upload costs to some temporary cost centers (Ex: BALUPLD) first and transfer to final cost centers or directly upload to the final cost centers.

What is the standard procedure

Why temporary Cost Cetner, while uploading client will give you the proper Cost Cetners where it has to go,

If your client is not providing that explain him what you are going to do,

Hi

SAP Std practice is to upload costs directly to the final cost centers. No need of temporary uploading and settlement to final cost centres. This is a long process and not advisable

Cast cetners are real objects you can not make it dummy,

if you upload to any dummy Cost Center you can not get Proper reports,

Use Correct one while uploading also
