Update work process is block

Dear All,

I want to know in SM50 in update process are block for more than 20min. In the table field eg. FAGLFLEXT, RFBLG because of this all update works are process are block for update.

In SM12 lock einter are more than 300 and in Sm13 many eniters.

In this situation .what can i do to resolve the problem?

exp Can I end the update process without core and repeat the update in SM13 .

HI,

Check the log of update process and see if any steps are getting executed, if so just leave it.

Else the update was stopped a while ago but still showup in the UPD WP list check with the user what was the update about and inform him you are cancelling the process and need to be rescheduled, also check the log and see for any error msgs.

If you ahve got onle one UPD WP you need to increase this number since one issue like this should not block other updates.

Hi,

First check with the user who has blocked that update W/P and take the necessary action.

You can check it via SM50 or SM13 also for the user.
