SAP Oscol

Hi Team,

Our component is SAP ECC 6.0. Earlier it was non unicode, we have upgraded to unicode.

It is installed on windows with cluster(MSCS). When we see the status it shows :

SAPOSCOL version COLL 20.93 700 - 20.56 NT 07/01/17, 32 bit, multithreaded, Non-Unicode.

How we can resolve this?

Regards,

Rahul.

SAPOSCOL is part of the kernel... if your kernel is UNICODE and everything is working fine (including the OS collector in OS06) then you don't have to treat this as an issue.

Rahul,

It shouldn't be a problem. We have unicode systems installed with latest patches. it's oscol also shows non-unicode.

Please find the note 438473. though this deals with a different proble, but it clearly says, Saposcol currently only exists at a non-Unicode version.

hope this helps,

Debasis.
