Hi Experts

What needs to be taken care in MM side while we go for Upgrade for ex: from SAP 4.7 to ECC 6.

-You have to test all your main process in ECC 6 and make sure that all your process is working

-if oyu have any custom tcode or program which needs to be detialed tested becuase there is many history tables changed

so suppose your report is reading the data from table in 4.7 may have changed in ECC.

e.g. MARC history strored in MARCH

MARD history stored in MARDH

- If you have any interfaces build in 4.7 to other system that also needs to be tested.

- there are some new fucntionality is availabe in ECC so that you can use instead of your custom solution.

- The authorization of users needs to be tested

In addition, upgrade to ECC 6 is accompanied by Unicode conversion. So you need to test all output - with special emphasis on output in double byte languages (like Chinese, Japanese, etc)
