HI,
Once the project is go live there is hyper care wherein the system is monitored very closely and the critical issues are handled.
Once the hypercare is over the production support starts. The Organisation which had implemented the implementation project is responsible for the transition of the project for its production support to the other org( if different) . the official hand ove rtakes place wherein all the necessary documents , Existing Business processes, Issues faced, undergone developments , Tickets etc has to be handed over to the respective personnel.
The regular support starts after the SOW has been signed and the agreement is made with the client accordingly.
The supoort include all the rouine problems faced by the end users like for Eg; PO creations, pricing problems, GR problems, transport requests, authorization issues, developments to be done, enhancements idf any, additional data migrations etc are addreesed here.
