Joining results from 2 datasets into 1

I have a data service that returns 2 dataset.

One datasetcontains for eg leave data for an employee, while the other datasetacts as a reference table that contains just the employees 'name.

For e.g dataset1 contains PERNR and the employee's leave BEGDA and ENDDA. Since an employee has multiple leave records, his PERNR will appear many times in the dataset, each row has a different BEGDA and ENDDA of his leave.

dataset2 contains just the PERNR and full name of each unique employee that appearred on dataset1.

I want to combine the columns from these 2 dataset into one, so that I can present to the user 1 table that contains, for each leave record:

the PERNR, fullname, BEGDA and ENDDA.

Since PERNR is common to both datasets, I believe/hope there is a way to do something similiar to a SQL JOIN on the 2 datasets.

Can anyone offer some advice?
