Printing scenario

The font size of several cells is enlarging for some cells depending on the method of printing

2005A PL 29

Scenarios below for printing a SALES ORDER

1. Open Sales Order, select print review, print from print preview screen = font sizes match PLD

2. Open Sales Order, select file>> Print = font sizes of several cells is signifigantly larger than PLD size

This is happening for all users. Printing to 1 printer.

Has anyone experienced this? Do you know why it is happening?

Gordon, What is a printer driver?

Printer driver is a software to control printer printing. All hardware need some kind of driver to operate. You can search printer make's website to download their driver.

Hi Gordon,

The two scenario's below have been printed from the same printer.

The only difference is - one was printed from the print preview - and the other direcrly from the sales screen (or from File>>Print).

Printing from PDF is fine also.

If you can print PDF correctly, it is definitely your printer driver issue. Somehow, the combination strings just triggered print command directly. This is not a B1 problem.

You can try to use deferent printer drivers to try. Windows default driver for your printer might not be as good as the driver from manufacture directly.

Hi Lisa,

What printer and printer drivers are you using? That might be the problem source.

Have you tried to print to PDF file? Is there same problem?

Thanks,

Gordon
