Delta Getting wrong selection of data

Hello,

I'm extracting data from R/3 to BI7.0

I created 2 infopackage one for Full load and one for Delta

In Full load i selected Plant = 1001

In Delta load system is not allowing to select option Plant = 1001

because of this I'm getting other plant data like 1002...ect

I'm using BI7.0

I need to load Plant = 1001 in Full Load and Delta load.also Plant = 1001

Dear Roshan,

In Delta load you can not specify any selection. But you can specify selection while initializing.

First initialize based on selection(for plant 1001 only) and pull delta.

or

Instead of Full load and delta loads, its better to Pull Data with option " Initialization WITH data transfer (based on selection) and pull deltas after that.

Hi Roshan,

No changes can be made to a Infopackage scheduled for a Delta load.The settings for a Init load run before it are passed on to it.

My suggestion would be to create a Infopackage and schedule it for a INIT load.(use the option IINITIALIZATION without data transfer). This would run a init load but would not transfer any data.Make sure you give the appropriate Selections in the Data selection tab page.(These would be saved for Delta load as well).

Then later on you can schedule a Delta load from the same Infopackage.
