ESS: Make

Hi All,

I have a question regarding setting for ESS.

-In ESS there are currently some Areas like

Personal Information, Working Time, and Benefits and Payments & etc.

Could I set for some employees in my company ,they are only be able to see Personal Information and Working Time only

and some other employees just can see

Benefit and Payment in their ESS.

This is possible to be done?

If possible, how to do it?

Hi,

I think you will have to customize the overview page as mentioned in this article.

https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/10ddda33-277b-2a10-5294-9913ee5d...

Once you have customized, take copy of the Overview page and make changes in overview iView for applciation parameters. Add this page to new role and assign to users.

Thanks a lot for your help.

Is that mean I have to assign different roles for the employee that need different Overview page?

Is this hard or easy to maintained?

This can be achieved only through the Proxy class in R/3 side with the help of Abaper. Please go through the link
